• From an early age, Ian A. C. Johnson has always had an interest in freezing moments in time through photography.
  • Snapping the shutter to share his point of view is something he finds both humbling and rewarding. In 2011, Ian earned his undergraduate degree from the Photojournalism Department of the University of Cincinnati.
  • Ian completed an internship for the Cleveland Indians as Team Photographer for the 2012 season. His photographs of fans and players were utilized by the Indian's Marketing Department for their various social media sites as well as their main website. Additionally, Ian shot and produced a video for the promotion of the intern program and was responsible for cataloging and managing the Indian's photo data base.
  • He has worked with a top 25 college publication, The News Record, UC's own independently run student newspaper. Other works have included an internship at CityBeat, Cincinnati's free weekly paper, and covering the 2011 Western and Southern Tennis Open for Game Day Communications.
  • Ian has covered the diverse sporting events of college football, basketball, baseball, women's volleyball, soccer, and track and field, anticipating the unique motions of each sport and positioning himself accordingly, to capture dramatic, defining moments. Ian has also worked with The New Media Bureau bringing forth Cincinnati centered, human interest stories. Ian’s multimedia talents were displayed for pieces showing a behind the scene look at the Cincinnati Ballet, and UC’s College Conservatory of Music
  •  An open mind with a hunger for the next breaking story are Ian's reasons to greet the new day.
